Urgently need front carriage V-wheel spacer for Glowforge Pro — ArtPrize deadline

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone here can help me identify/source this tiny part.

I’m preparing an interactive installation for ArtPrize 2026 in Grand Rapids, and my Glowforge Pro is a major part of the fabrication process.

I recently replaced both front carriage plate V-wheels. When I replaced the first one, I didn’t realize that the small metal spacer/bushing from the original wheel needed to be reused, and I believe I accidentally threw it away.

When I replaced the second wheel, I discovered the spacer shown in these photos and realized what had happened.

Glowforge sells the replacement V-wheel, but I haven’t found anywhere to purchase this spacer by itself, and I really don’t want to replace the entire carriage plate over one tiny piece.

Does anyone know the exact dimensions/specification for this spacer, have a spare one from an old carriage plate, or know where I can source an equivalent?

Time is unfortunately important because ArtPrize is coming up very quickly and I need to get back into production.

My project combines laser-fabricated artwork with NFC-connected digital experiences through my company, State of Stick, Co. Inc. I’d love for my Glowforge to remain part of the fabrication story — I just need to get this little part replaced!

I am guessing you need this: Can’t you measure the one from the other wheel for the measurements?
