Hey! If I use one of the design files, can I use the image to promote an event to make the item?

Not from the catalog no. Commercial use is not included for photos.

You can make as many as you like, but you cannot sell the ability for others to make them. If you want examples to show the result, just make the examples. It would be better than photos.
