Good to clean the machine since my work got 2 gallons of it and they need to dispose (someone ordered way too much)? I read Zeiss Wipes so maybe I’ll use that for the lenses and mirrors since that’s recommended but does it have to be Zeiss?

No. Any good lens wipe will be fine. The primary thing is to avoid paper products like paper towels, napkins or tissues. Those are abrasive and may scratch.

I will caution this - I’ve had other brands of lens wipes that are significantly wetter than the Zeiss brand right out of the packaging (Bosch and Lomb specifically). When they are very wet, even though it’s just alcohol (so they say), it can still leave a residue/swirl type thing on the surface after the fact.
