Wanderer

Made this for a world-traveling friend, based on a sketch she had shared on FB.

My first time layering, most everything I’ve made has been single-part etched/score pieces like pendants, earrings, gift tags, etc.

White chipboard (.08"), cut 175/100 etch 500/50/variable, except text ribbon etched 500/60/v & cut 150/100 for more smoke. Pointer has gold Rub & Buff. Main compass body is 3", for scale.

About a year ago I dabbled in screen printing and made a similar design on a t-shirt. This is pretty cool.

Wanderful!

Here’s the finished product - hard to tell, but there’s acrylic enclosing it.
