as I understand the current warranty of the glowforge is 12 months past delivery date. However now my air filter has pushed out past the 12 months after I got my glowforge pro. Since I ordered a complete system with air filter, does that mean my warranty will start once I get the air filter?

Your warranty started as soon as your Glowforge shipped — with or without the filter.
If you have your GF in your possession, the only warranty that has not started is the one for the filter.

@lgibson, your Glowforge warranty started when it shipped, and the 6 month warranty for your Air Filter will start when it ships.
