A few years ago I made this sign for a tree that my daughter picked out and planted in Michigan. We are visiting now and this is what the monkeypod engraving looks. It was finished with Spar urethane, but it looks like it needs another coating. Great to see how things weather.

I love the sign - it’s pretty! And the rope is set up the way it is so it can be adjusted as the tree grows, right? Yeah I like to see how things weather so I can understand what to do with things I create.
