What in the World?

Incredible! You need real dedication to finish a piece with that much work involved.

I found the layered map file on Etsy. Be careful not to get the Russian language one though.

What?! Especially get the Russian language one, that would be awesome

Epic. Love how this turned out. Looks like lots of little pieces to glue.

No great loss. (Ex Floridian here.)

@eric.webb , wonderful work you did there. This would be great artwork for a geography or geology class.

How long did it take?

Took me a couple of days between cutting painting and gluing. It’s keeping track of what small cuts to keep that was tough for me. Had to literally look at the picture and grab a few islands out of the scrap pile.

Probably just my office…

Nice work!!

I made this same map. We noticed a few errors but I haven’t messaged the file maker yet. Still pretty proud of the solid effort between my husband and me.

Gorgeous! For each lower level, you can outline (cut the lines with low pew-pews) the next level up showing you exactly where the next piece goes. Makes things much easier and as the upper piece covers the etch, they shouldn’t be visible in the finished piece.
