I don’t know about you, but I usually start with what materials do I have on hand? And what do I need…so right now, I’m working out how to create a top for a full-sized digital keyboard so that when it’s not in use (which is most of the time), my kids can use it as a desk. It’s super long, and I don’t want to remove the cover at all, so I need it to fold up in the middle. I thought that it would be nice to have something that will slide out automatically to hold musicwhen I open it. Still thinking it through though, since I have a basic and nothing to cut wood besides the glowforge.
