Is there anything that GF will cut safely or without making a mess? I was in another post and there was nothing buy negative posts about cutting materials making a mess or catching fire.
I’ve been a GF owner for I think 7 years now, and regularly cut wood (mostly plywood but also hardwood) and acrylic.
Not sure what your issue is from your post.
There are a number of things that are bad to try to cut with a laser. Many plastics just get runny, and some (especially PVC) give off gasses that can destroy the machine, or poison the air. The safest are cast acrylic, hardwoods, and (with much lowered power) most common paper and cardboards. All needs to be carefully watched as you are using very high temps and if a fire does get out of hand it will quickly destroy the machine, and if still ignored, your house as you are “playing with fire” as much as in a fireplace.
