I was engraving a coaster of a skull hand and during the engraving process the glowforge engraved a full line section over areas that were not to be engraved. Could it have been a glitch in the design transfer? Just curious if anyone has experienced this before and if you had an answer why.

Impossible to say without seeing the file, but likely the way your design is constructed.

I basically had a sub-group in my compound path which caused the issue during the engraving process.
