Who doesn't love a candle holder?

This is the first candle holder I designed. I used proofgrade materials and I really love the way it turned out.

And this one was inspired by a video by Tim Ung.

(no proofgrade materials were harmed in the making of this candle holder)

I love the use of the slats, instead of a solid sheet. It catches more light the way you did it.

Double on that! I have made a number of them but have not gone there.

I did the slats thinking it would allow more heat to release from a candle, but it ended up being an awesome design feature.

Real fire can be a bad thing when enclosed with flammable stuff. LED candles are much safer. In reality if there is a breeze or air movement it can push the flame about being more dangerous. Also with LED you can enclose the piece completely as I did here…

How did you get the acrylic to stay and pop in the sides? So cool! And where can I find the design it’s impressive!

My goodness, I’ve been away from the forums, it seems!

The acrylic has tabs on it like the outside of the box. And I designed the pattern myself.
