This is the first candle holder I designed. I used proofgrade materials and I really love the way it turned out.
And this one was inspired by a video by Tim Ung.
(no proofgrade materials were harmed in the making of this candle holder)
Your combinations of acrylic and wood are simply gorgeous! Love the designs.
Love the all acrylic sides - it really gives it a fantastic look!
Those turned out very pretty! I like your design best.
Stunning! i like those very much.
Nice!
I love the use of the slats, instead of a solid sheet. It catches more light the way you did it.
Love the first one … beautiful style.
Double on that! I have made a number of them but have not gone there.
I did the slats thinking it would allow more heat to release from a candle, but it ended up being an awesome design feature.
Real fire can be a bad thing when enclosed with flammable stuff. LED candles are much safer. In reality if there is a breeze or air movement it can push the flame about being more dangerous. Also with LED you can enclose the piece completely as I did here…
I agree! I really like #1. Very simple and classy.
Tim Ung is quite the guy to follow. I love his clean designs.
Looks like a lighthouse lens.
How did you get the acrylic to stay and pop in the sides? So cool! And where can I find the design it’s impressive!
My goodness, I’ve been away from the forums, it seems!
The acrylic has tabs on it like the outside of the box. And I designed the pattern myself.
That’s really cool!
