Who likes Monopoly?

Haven’t made a new design in quite awhile (been focusing on trying to lose some weight since I work two jobs from home lol). Anyways I was asked to make a monopoly bank, I took it one step further and made an optional lid too so it was able to rest a 10 by 10 folded board on top of the bank so it could all be stored in one place. The first version I made was way to tall lol so I remade it a second time smaller. Made it out of 0.2 inch mdf core wood from Menards.

If you are interested in making your own I listed my files for it here: etsy.com/shop/freshstartcustoms

I love the organization; you make it look easy. I’m impressed by your clean edges too–how do you get it together w/our smearing glue? (Tight fit=no glue?)

Yeah everything is kerf fit for no glue. Insides set to 0.012 kerf so loose enough to work with and out sides set to 0.0158 for nice and tight fit to hold everything together with no glue.

If I’m honest it’s not a game that hits my table but that storage is amazing! I love the slotted top to stand the properties up! Very cool!

I think I’ve only ever finished a full game twice in my life lol

This looks great! Our family doesn’t play too often because they can’t play nicely!! You did a fantastic job!

That looks fantastic! We don’t play the game because I am a very sore loser! However, it’s been many years, so maybe I’ve gotten better?

Oooo, great job on that. I really like your organized design. Could have used this maybe 50 years ago when I last played a game

Lol I played last year but before that, probably been 15 years for me too.

I love the idea of making sturdier boxes for games (I’ve done a couple myself), but come on, no one LIKES Monopoly.

This is really nice.

Like others … haven’t played in years … maybe 30 years … but we have at least five different ones. Original (in poor shape), a couple of anniversary games, Star Trek version, plus the version most have in their homes … I think that’s all.
