Why does it show my last print on my screen?

Each time I open a new design, it shows my last cut?? how do I clear that? Also should my screen be so far over to the left?

That’s not your design, that’s the last photo the Glowforge took. It’s the best info it has about what your crumb tray looks like.

Turn your machine on and it’ll update.

Open and close the door if it’s on and it’ll update.

Click the update bed image button and it’ll update.

Also should my screen be so far over to the left?

You can zoom out or use the hand to move and “see” more space to the left of your design, but it’ll just be grey space. It will always cut off that bit of material to the top and left because the laser head can’t physically get there so it can’t cut material there.
