Before you ask: new one is underneath, that’s why hose is not through the hole in this image
To this Perspex sheet fits inside window frame slotted into cardboard so no more flapping around in the wind. Bit trickier to put in and out but worth it for the light.
Next stage is to do the cardboard in wood or acrylic.
