Wood identification

The company isn’t sharing what wood these are made out of, anyone willing to venture a guess?

Maple…just guessing. I was just in the lumber store a couple hours ago, and they were selling maple butchers blocks. I walked past an entire aisle of maple blocks. Color is the same.

Could be a cheap rubber wood too. How much did it cost?

Wholesale bulk was $8. I was thinking Maple too, but I don’t trust my identification abilities at all lol.

I have had such issues with light colored wood. I feel like the rockhound that took everything for granite, Much that I took for Maple did not act like Maple, as Gum, Birch, etc. but maple is most likely.

I think Ash is a possibility, but my experience is limited.

Looks similar, but I think too expensive to be made into cheap cutting boards.

Maple is a weed…
