What woods have been tested with Glowforge? What’s the depth of cut with different species?
Balsa?
Walnut?
Pine?
Maple?
Padauk?
Cherry?

We’ve run all of the above and they all cut about the same except Balsa, which is like butter. We haven’t tested thicker than 1/4" but it may well get there.
We’ve cut through 1/8" Wenge and Purpleheart, but it’s slow going. When we get the final tube in we’ll know for sure how thick we can get in a single pass. Those woods are dense!
