My New GF was working great and then all of the sudden I got a yellow light. I reached out and support was fast, but the steps shared did not fix the problem. When I turn it on; it does not sound as powerful as it did before and it doesn’t move. The yellow light just stays on. The app is stuck on focusing. I emailed photos per support’s request. I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what the resolution was.
Since you emailed support, they will close this thread as soon as they determine it is a duplicate ticket. The yellow light is often a communication error with the printhead. I am sure they asked you to double check the connection of the white cable and photograph the pins. However, if the app is stuck on focusing that it a different issue. Try turning off the Glowforge, signing out of the app, resetting your router, then turing the Glowforge back on, then opening the app.
Thank you. I logged out of everything and my husband shut down our router. After turning the router on I re-set up the GF. It connected to our internet with ease. The app took me to make my first cut again, but the light was yellow the whole time. It’s still stuck on focusing and the printer head doesn’t move.
