My day job is as a traffic engineer. I work in downtown Seattle, commuting from Des Moines, about an hour door-to-door including a stint on the Link Light Rail. We are relatively new to the Pacific Northwest, but love it more every day that we are here.

I've come to realize that my hobby is having hobbies. I've dabbled in 3D Printing, I've made my own bean-to-bar chocolate, I've smoked my own bacon, I've raced RC trucks, I've fixed an RC plane (but crashed it and am not willing to put any more money into it), and so on. I am also an avid collector, much to the dismay of my wife. I collect board games, card games (Magic: the Gathering), movies, music, books... you name it and I've likely got one. I also enjoy playing those board and card games, and have even dabbled a bit in making my own games.
