I was wondering what’s the best site to purchase mirror acrylic?

Well then you’re in luck because it’s been discussed a bunch, and you’re one easy search away.

Hello thanks everyone for the tips. Where is the best place to buy the masking? I can’t find it on amazon.

Search for masking source and there are tons of recommendations. Works for almost anything you want to buy. “Hardwood source”, “acrylic source”, etc.

My favorite masking thread is here:

Can anyone here share some resources where they purchased mirrored acrylic? I am looking for some for a new project and would love some input.

Most of the places that sell acrylic, also sell mirrored - and the joy of acrylic is its standardized across the industry - so have fun!

If you don’t need very large pieces, IKEA is a steal. There’s acyrlic mirrors in the kids section.

Just clarifying you placed mirror side up and also masked the mirror side? Doesn’t flashback burns the side of the material in contact with honeycomb tray?

And if you mask the mirrored side, do you remove the transparent sheet before masking?

I’m new to this and facing same issues…

The post you’re responding to is 6 years old, so you’re unlikely to hear from the OP.

When cutting mirrored acrylic put masking on both sides, one to stop flashback and the other to stop burn marks.

Definitely remove the transparent sheet, that’s plastic and will melt into your cuts.
