The Christmas Season goes to the 13 of January this year. For me the 25th is the beginning of the celebration. Of course everyone else is putting it away. Iā€™m taking the 29th and 30th off as my break.

Hey, my family(well, dad)was old Episcopalian traditions from his parents(Baptist tradition isnā€™t as strong or stringent Iā€™ve found in most places), so Advent time is itā€™s own thing with the Advent Calendar, the tree goes up the Sunday prior and decorated Eve. Stays up through Little Christmas and most of January. I feel you on the whole, but ā€œthis is the startā€ when everyone else is sick and tired of it.

I mean my ex-in laws donā€™t even bother taking the tree down anymore. Itā€™s in an obscure corner of their music room hidden from view most of the year. But still.
