I have hundreds of designs similar to that that I have been looking for a way to use them and that is an interesting rabbit hole! 
Years ago when I was blowing glass I made trumpet-like flowers and used big pieces of mica for sails where being so light was a real boon.
The blown glass sounds pretty! Glad to give you another idea for your terrific designs! Be sure to show us some!
This is so so cute! I also love working with acrylic - I was surprised how much because in my head I’d written it off (being a pyrographer I was kind of a wood snob). That’s what I’m loving about the GlowForge so far; it is constantly surprising me and opening up a world of new ideas!
