So…I ordered a lighted rotating base to see if I could get an edge lit effect on the acrylic. It’s hard to capture the full effect in a photo but suffice to say I’m happy with the overall look.

I think that is great! The dimmer the room lights, the more profound the effect! I think that really ‘sets it off’
