Another table for the Forge

Saw this table on sale at

36 in. H x 24 in. D x 48 in. W Metal Workbench with Stainless Steel Top

$99 down from $199

Follow-up–just found out that the 24" depth includes a 4" tray on the back, so the surface is only 20" deep. The dimensions of the Forge are 38″ x 20.75″ x 8.25″, so it might be a little shallow.

Does anyone know the distance between the feet on the bottom of the forge? Do they extend all the way to the 20.75" width, or would they sit well on a 20" wide surface?

Follow-up #2–I located this past post which answers my concern above:

I keep telling myself I’ll build my own restoration hardware scissor lift table replica like this one, but it probably won’t happen. This is nice, thanks!

Ooh. That would be fun to build. And with a good ratchet, you could replace the big honking screw with a cable on a drum. Hmm, all I need is a laser to cut out all the parts…

Another deal online…

I look that one over every time I go into Home Depot.

Does anyone have this one? They don’t carry it in my local store (Hawaii) but will ship it to my house for $55. I like the wheels since I got the pro model and I want to be able to move it to feed a long piece of wood through.
