My husband LOVES the Aztecs, and I’ve been considering how to make him a Maquahuitl (that’s the wooden sword with obsidian teeth blades). However knapping the stone is a bit more of a challenge than I really want to take on… Maybe I can “fake it” with acrylic and wood… Hmm… Ideas… Ideas… :smiley:

Cool gift idea! I wouldn’t be surprised if you could find a source of obsidian points you could make work… With a little modification.
