Hi Im looking thru this thread and i dont see anything about enraving liqour bottles. Its my friends birthday soon and she would love a costumize Crown Royal bottle
It has to fit in the bottom of the Glowforge with crumb tray removed and roughly thinner that 1.8" so that it can fit underneath the laser head.
Other than that, look for engraving on glass. People usually use some moistened dish soap or even a wet paper towel.
Easier often to make the stencil from a laser appropriate stencil material and sandblast or chemical etch.

Thank you for the information i just measured the bottle and its roughly 2.5 tall. Does that mean i will not be able to engrave it?
2.5" is wider than 1.8", so, yes.

You could create a wooden presentation box and engrave that.

Or cut a template from masking material and acid etch the glass. Easy process, nice results

Armour etch is what you might want. Have to learn about stencils and transfer of them.

To do decent acid etch on glass you need hydrofluoric acid, and there is hardly a nastier chemical to work with.

I have used that to etch glassware with a vinyl stencil cut on my silhouette. Do not cut PVC vinyl with a laser!

What @bwente said…never cut pvc vinyl with your laser…but I use my transferrite masking as a stencil and have had good success with it.
