Depth on marble tiles?

If you blast hard enough you will turn calcium carbonate into calcium oxide where it will suck out whatever humidity is about and turn into quicklime,

So this happened.. (marble)

[15705702995801597374452758931966] ! Did a settings test about two weeks ago, left it on my work bench and came back to this. [15705705345716663419619139851299] Chemical reaction to the air? Think immediate marble sealant would help? Only occured on the 100 speed column. Hoping the rest doesn’t slowly dissolve because while the science geek in me thinks this is wildly cool, the designer half worries. Anyone else have this happen?
