When I signed up for a GF I ordered an OpenBuilds C-Beam Router kit to help introduce me to all things 3D. Because the Bosch Colt router is not available from an Australian distributor I used a very similar Makita product. Not quite similar enough, the diameter of the Makita is a tad smaller than the Bosch and I had to shim the mounting bracket. Never got it rigid enough to mill aluminium. I’ve resigned myself to replacing the OpenBuilds bracket with one that fits properly. Just need to work out how to mill the new bracket to fit the actuator.
