Engrave on Rose Gold plated

Has anyone engraved on anything plated with rose gold? I know you will need to use some kind of bonding agent.

We have been able to engrave on silver plated with a bonding agent, but when we tried the rose gold it didn’t work. Any tips or products you’ve used, let me know!

Plated metals are not really viable as laser materials. There are painted or anodized solutions that might work, but if you’re using a truly rose gold plated metal by itself you’re not going to be able to affect the plating.
