Fixing broken floor lamp with acrylic

I have two old floor lamps from Ikea, both broken but one more than the other:

1. Original Lamp 1 (somewhat ok)

4. Repaired Lamp 2 with acrylic on GF
   

   

5. Next steps: probably fix Lamp 1 as well…

Spore Table Lamp

It won’t melt with the halogen bulbs?

Good question. I first checked the temperature resistance of acrylic and the heating capacity of these 25W bulbs. Theoretically not an issue. After making it, I then run the lamp for an hour next to me: all good.
