I have photoshop also.
I use Inkscape for editing my SVGs.

Right click, convert to curves, select all, then join.
Assumes only text and obliger you are weldment text to.

Ooh. my husband is a hospitalist, so spends his working days surrounded by nurses. Some of the ones named Dan and Tom, etc., probably wouldn’t go for this as much, but a lot of the others would!
