Welcome to our merry little band Slackk1994, glad you could join us! It’s fun to “see” a bunch of new faces around here. This is a really great group of very talented folks with one common GF bond. It’s really going to be fun to start seeing all the different creations that are about to happen as shipping heats up.
One thing though, you gotta go find yourself an avatar soon, it’s almost a requirement around here. If you go more that a week without one, I heard your GF ships last. (OK, that’s a total and absolute lie, I just like seeing all the different avatars lol 
)

Keep an eye out for engravable “items” as well on Amazon, cutting boards, blank plaques, knives (I’ve picked up several nice pocket knives with wooden handles(scales?) that I plan on engraving - Plus I have a PRODUCTION GLOWFORGE sorry - I find myself shouting that randomly the past 2 days. but look through the forum - LOTS (I mean LOTS) of good informative posts for ideas, tips, hints and tricks…

well, as of the end of may, glowforge still considered themselves to be in pre-order phase; whether that includes bonuses, i couldn’t say. their most recent press release has the following statement:
“Glowforge printers are available for pre-order on Glowforge.com.”

This should be moved to a separate topic and pinned - it’s a great shortcut post to eliminate aimless wandering in the forum for these answers/tips.

Not sure how to do that without breaking references that others might have done to it.
