Hammer dropped....XCarve

There are many posts on the Inventables forum with information on how to increase the rigidity. It’s a lot of DIY stuff. You can search for “stiffening mod” or “rigidity” to see what others have done. I upgraded mine in early 2016 and haven’t looked to see what other mods are available.

?? Are you talking about my nose picker bird house?

Thank you so much! I under stand the cost of my freedom and truly am grateful.

Wisconsin. Carry friendly. I always do.

I sell the plans for that which includes dxf and the 3D models of the giant screw heads.

I sell 9mm 3GT3 belt end clip kits for the x-carve. My kit includes $20 in free carving files.

I also have free plans for a very strong custom waste board

How difficult is it to come to grips with using this? I know nothing about wood working or bits. How long would it take for a complete novice to get up to speed enough to do a 3D carving or 3d relief using this machine?

I see that MatterHackers has a Carvey 3D Carver, fully contained for cleaner, quieter operation. Not as big, but will do something the size of a normal piece of paper.
