Sounds good. Now that all being said, omprazole is perfectly safe in general. And unlike the other acid reducing medications like Zantac which attempt to mess with the message to the acid producing cells (like out things in the body there are redundant backups) the proton pumps themselves get destroyed (and take about 24hr to regenerate) so without protons (h+) you don’t get HCL. On most of the other agents the secondary pathway gets up regulated so you still get acid). And as someone who has had multiple bleeding ulcers it can be life saving, and is a cornerstone of H. pylori treatment.
