Brilliant process! It reminds me of Fordite. I love the final result.
This is amazing. Wonderful work!
Yes fordite is great for jewelery.
Thanks! My canvas stuff is 10 by 10. I like the ones that are black to start with.
Wow! This is impressive and inspiring!
These all look great
Great work and thanks for sharing!
Have you tried using stray on adhesive to bond the sheets?
Iâm late to the party. This is brilliant! I love the actual artwork, and your process. Thank you for sharing!
I tried several types of waterproof spray adhesive but there was quite a lot of delamination in the small detail when brushed under running water to clean the ash away. This can have happy accidents and interesting results but also leads to more discards. Which is a shame as it takes between 30 minutes an 3 hrs to engrave depending on size or numbers of engravings.
It took a longtime to reply because there is ablock on number of repkies a day for some reason.
I have put a post on glowforge users group facebook page as well. This forum seems to restrict my interaction with limited replies a day.
That restriction will be lifted automatically as you participate here. This is a discourse forum, and there are user âtrust levelsâ that you progress between. Itâs a little secretive about what the thresholds are, but looking at your profiles, youâre a ânew userâ and I think thatâs lifted shortly after you join.
Ah OK thanks for the heads up.
Youâll see a lot of us doing replies like this:
even though we donât have the restriction because if you respond too many times in the same thread youâll still get a pop-up saying âYouâre replying an awful lot!â
You are also now trust level member, which should have lifted all those restrictions.
Welcome, youâre off to an awesome start!
Thanks
Whatever your thoughts in AI art, when combined with a new medium to such stunning results, itâs mind-blowing. These are amazing.
