As you now have the Glowforge I wonder if making legs of four (or six) magic finger pieces per leg to be exactly the height needed and very strong and stable in either the quoins look or sanded round corners.
I am using some as small as 3\4" square instead of tube steel. Perhaps not as strong as steel but close enough not to matter.

If I could find matching paint for the tabletop, I might consider it, or even a wrap for the steel legs, but I like the look of the steel with the blue/white and I’d lost the ability to easily adjust to be level/flat
