In search for a protective paper to prevent burn marks

Help!

In search for a protective paper that I can apply to various materials to prevent burn marks. A specific brand someone uses would be great as I am having a hard time finding an exact product recommended for this specific task online.

Thanks!

Hello. I moved your request into the ‘beyond the manual’ category. Problems and support do not respond to questions about products they do not guarantee. I’m sure someone here in the forum will have some great suggestions for you.

Search for “masking” in the forum and you get lots of product endorsements.

I’m going to help get you started because all the masking posts start to get convoluted.

This is a good starting place:

I’ve used this stuff since I’ve started using non PG materials

http://www.tcpglobal.com/KUS-STMF12150.html#.XE43ZlxKhhF

currently $40 but have seen on sale for as little as $20 for same quantity.

Huh, that tcpglobal product is new to me. I wonder if they’re reselling one of the larger brands?

I’d probably be more likely to go with some of the more established brands that you can reliably reorder, especially since it’s abut twice as expensive as the stuff I get (perfectear plus). The items are the same cost, but tcpglobal is selling 150’ at a time, where perfectear is 300’.
