Is there a way to put something under the piece we are cutting to "catch" small pieces?

I never thought my questions would digress into a chemistry lesson :slightly_smiling:

You can always pull the crumb tray and replace it. The pro move here is a pin table… take your design, figure out where it needs to be supported, take a piece of plywood, cut nail-sized holes where you need supports, push the nails up, set it in place of the crumb tray. Then put a piece of material on top of the nail tips and cut. THe nail tips support your piece perfectly and the beam doesn’t have anything to flash against.

For a bonus what movie quote could that be from?

I’m going to guess the movie “salt”.

Sorry the answer in my head was “Brazil”
