This is stunning
I too was wondering what you used for a press and I see you have a pic of that. Now I am curious how much pressure that puts out?
Awesome work by the way!
I haven’t done anything with leather… but every time I see projects like this… I can’t wait to start. So cool!
4 ton press
I have 4 different collections of Angelus paints. Regular paint, metallics, neon and Glitterlites. Love them all. My neon collection is underneath the small bottles.
The first company I recommend ——the 2nd company is SLOW SLOW SLOW for shipping.

Beyond beautiful. Whoever gets it will be so lucky. Too bad you can’t actually wear it on a uniform.
Thanks so much for sharing and for the recommendation, I have some proofgrade leather and some other leather that I got so I can see myself doing some leather painting!
Beautiful work! What are you putting those stamps on?

These are perfection!
I decided to order some of the Angelus. Anxious to get them an try them out!! Beautiful colors!
A little paint goes a long way. Shake the bottle of paint well . After you paint your leather wait 2 days then finish with a damp sponge brush with Resolene.
A damp sponge brush prevents permanent bubbles from forming on the leather after it is dried. Make sure to brush all the bubbles away while the leather is still wet with the Resolene.
Twenty four hours after the Resolene has dried buff with a very soft cloth.
Thanks for these instructions! I already have the Resolene so I should be good to go. Just need to search for something i want to paint!
Wow - those look fantastic!
What thickness do you recommend for making stamps? And I see that, as with everything else thanks to the pandemic, prices appear to be going up.
Beautiful…
Wow - I got impressive results from 4 clamps and some plywood. I’m bettin’ yours goes faster though!
I purchased the 1/4 thick Delrin for stamps.
Used between 4-6 gauge leather
