2 things - first, this is public forum so you don’t want to put your email on here or it will get scraped by scammers.

Second, it’s against forum rules to ask for files. We want to avoid anyone feeling uncomfortable about having to say no. If someone wants to include the file they will, and most often they will post it in the Free Laser Designs section.

Did you mask it how did you avoid laser burn?

No masking is required. I use slow speed and low power. 250/50. it takes time (1-2 hrs) but there is less soot and charring.

No problem - we almost all do it once

Did you use blue card stock then also I take it? What size is that about if I may ask I want to do my small town won’t have that many streets lol, where do you get a nice frame like that?

11x17 inches 110lbs blue card stock from amazon. I purchased it some time back and unfortunately it no longer shows up on their website. I will have to redo some test cuts once this batch runs out.

The frame is also from amazon, Upsimples is the seller.

I love it! I was going to ask what size it was, and if you needed to use more than one sheet of the cardstock, but then I saw the size of your frame 11x17, and realized it was not an issue. Also, by going that size you did not hit any of the limitations of the (non-pro) glowforge can laser. Wonderful map, I love it.

There are very good step-by-step tutorials on Instructables.

The first one is the easiest to do, the second method is a bit more difficult as you have to download and learn a new software.
