you mean when you bounce one off your toe that isn’t fun? where is your sense of adventure. Dunno what else to call it.

Here’s ours. It’s in the top of a large toolbox that has a power strip in it. So we just leave all the chargers plugged in and only turn the switch on when we need to charge a battery. The second pic just shows how the shelf is slanted. I can’t get to the back to show you how he made the angle. The toolbox is taller than me, so I’m just able to slide the batteries into their slots! If it were an inch higher I wouldn’t be able to reach it without a stepstool!

Definitely makes them easier to slide the batteries into. If they were flat I wouldn’t be able to reach them!
