Need help printing 10 3" pins on wood by this Sat. Print head does not move, stuck at "homing" or "centering"

Thank you for the offer. I will ping you if we go that route.

Update: I did manage to print using a friend’s GF and we did give the high school seniors their pins! The GF, though, we decided to accept GF’s offer to send us a refurbished GF. The cost is going to be $851 + $200 (shipping) + 10.1% tax = about $1157.15 if GF estimates hold. I will reach out to the members who expressed an interest in helping the team with the funds. If anyone feels generous enough to contribute to a high school robotics team, please DM me. Your donation will be to a public high school or to FIRST Washington, a 501(c)3 org that runs our competitions. The team can access funds from both pots and your donation is tax deductible. And thanks to everyone who helped - great to have an active community!

What is that? Are you able to take Paypal?

James, Thanks for getting back.

The easiest donation (at his point because school is closed) is through FIRST Washington. The site is Donate Now | FIRST Washington (givelively.org). The key thing is to mention that it is for FRC 1899 or send me the receipt so I can make sure it gets to the team’s booster account (every team has an account with FIRST WA).

If paypal is your only option, you would have to send the payment to me (chandans@exmsft.com). But, that would NOT be a tax deductible donation. I paid GF and I get reimbursed through FIRST WA.

Thanks much.

Okay, I’m traveling this week (road trip from NC to CO) so it will have to wait until I get back to CT. But I’ll take care of it then.

James,

you have 2 options:

  1. Donate to the High School’s Robotics club account

Go to Interlake High School ASB (intouchreceipting.com)

Choose I want to donate to “Donation - ASB Robotics Club”, type the amount. Please send me the receipt.

  1. Donate Now | FIRST Washington (givelively.org) If there is a memo field, please write “FRC 1899” and send me the receipt.

Just FYI, another member of the Glowforge Owner’s forum has donated $50 so we $50 less. Please let me know how much you are planning on donating, so the team can plan accordingly.

Thanks
