it is a crapshoot, to be honest.
I used the whiteboard MDF from HD for a Christmas present. Works beautifully.
Score: 300/30
Engrave: 1000/60/450
Cut: 130/Full (Basic)
Sheets were covered with masking tape beforehand. 12" tape FTW.

I tried finding marker board at my Home Depot, but they were out (and there was a looooooong wait to get my chalkboard material cut. Which my kids did not appreciate…). Will update with results. I want to be able to engrave back to school boards, and not have to paint in the engrave like you would with white acrylic. Fingers crossed!

It works beautifully! I used draft-board proofgrade settings, no masking. Had to wipe it up a bit when it was done.

How long did it take to engrave this? I did something similar and it took 1 hour 45 minutes. It engraved very deep too so I wondered if I could cut down the time by making the engrave not so deep?
