Yeah, as eflyguy said, Double-sided tape, and I added the frame to hide the tape from the inside part.

I wish I had time to do itā€¦ but itā€™s straight forwardā€¦ if you look at it you know how itā€™s done!
Have a look at the back where it says thank you, there are the two bits to move the N around!

It isnā€™t hard to see how it works. A rectangle with double sided engravings, and slots for the moving part - as clearly seen from behind. Two identically sized rectangles but with inner cutouts, one large enough to allow the moving piece to slide, the next large enough to cover the slots in the first. A moving section with tabs, like a box a with only the bottom and two opposite sides. Done.
