Welcome to the forum! AFAIK you’re only the 2nd person to ask about pakka, and sadly the 1st never came back with their results. The answer is, you’re going to have to test!

Pakkawood

Pakka Wood is impregnated with resin, like a stabilized hardwood. In general resins aren’t particularly dangerous to laser, though there are some reports of some resins containing PVC, which is definitely not laserable, and will damage your machine if you try. Beyond that, resin-impregnated wood is typically quite difficult to cut. So, if you can verify that it’s definitely not PVC, or if you’re willing to take that risk, it’ll probably engrave well.
