Another approach is to spray clear acryllic. I’ve been using a cotton based paper, glued with spray adhesive to hardboard and then spraying the acryllic. I do several coats. I just realized I could wipe clean with water and magic sponge to get all the burn off. No fuss with tack paper, which was driving me crazy getting off. This doesn’t reduce the kerf, though, which is the point of this topic.
Some day, I’ll put my own thoughts together on how I am doing jigsaw puzzles…
