I don’t like the fact that Dremel makes you use their filament, as it’s pricier. I do have some cheaper filament that I plan on re-spooling, but that may or may not void the warranty.

Unless they can prove that the filament caused a problem you want warranty support for, they can’t use your use of non-Dremel filament to deny warranty coverage. It’s similar to GFs Proofgrade - support can be constrained to their materials but warranties cannot except to damage caused by materials. It’s old law in the US.

“Real steel” front–ahhhh, it’s steel, just a non-magnetic type of stainless steel. Fortunately a bit pricier option, so still plenty of good old magnetic steel door panels out there! (which I like, too, and white, though my stove is SST).

But seems magnetic bulletin boards have become more popular & widely available in stores as non-magnetic stainless steer door fronts became more popular. As folks missed using the fridge door, the market for the magnetic panels (or sheet of galv steel for DIYers) provided the solution to move the notes and artwork to another spot on the wall!
