Removing the left-side top panel is trivial, and info has been posted here (including by myself) but removing the fan on a pro is NOT trivial, due to the coolant heatsink and lower screws that it uses to attach to the rear frame.
I’m glad I did it but it wasn’t simple. My machine stays so much cleaner without that thing (and the grate, which I cut away) in the way.
