Set Focus on non-proof leather

Yes, what @caribis2 said, but even if I am doing the same settings I won’t set it to do a 2nd pass via the GFUI because it does it immediately. I do it as a completely separate cut after the leather has had time to “cool off”. I find that, like when cooking a steak, it gets harder/tighter when heat hits it, and if you let it cool off the 2nd cut will be more effective than if you cut it again immediately after. It’s a tiny difference, but it was noticeable to me.

Neither one of them offered any advice.

On occasion I will give Jimmy Wayne Westie a big piece of wet veg tan leather. He will scratch the leather with his nails and chew it with his teeth. After 15-20 minutes I take the leather back, clean It then use it for my gun art.
