Simple earbud holder

I have a Blue Yeti microphone that I’ve been using to record podcasts, video conferencing, and so on for a number of years. It’s a great USB microphone and DAC that also has a headphone jack that I keep a set of earbuds connected to for the playback side of those types of conference calls.

Last week I ordered a boom for it to keep it from consuming desk space. I’ve been very happy with that change, but without the stand I didn’t have a convenient place to hang my earbuds. A fifteen minute spin through Fusion 360 and a 2 minute print on the Glowforge on some scrap Maple ply and my problem is solved!

Super simple design but I really love making functional objects as well as artistic ones.

Oh…great thinking! Then, they’re always right where you need them, but not in the way.
