It’s definitely worth learning to play!
I got some Padauk from Inventables. So I had to test it out by making an extra set of Paiko tiles 
P.S. Before Glowing it up, I finished it with Shellac and masked with the tape you can get in 100 yard lengths that I found recommended here somewhere, and it worked great. I can dig up link to the masking if anyone needs it.
